The annual highlight is almost here. The Mayor of Ipswich will be hosting the prestigious fundraising ball on Friday 21 March at the Corn Exchange.

With less than two months to go, now is the time to secure your tickets and join the community in supporting two valuable Ipswich-based charities.

Proceeds from the ball will go to Genesis Orwell Mencap and Cancer Support Suffolk, local charities that work tirelessly to support those in need.

Mayor Councillor Elango K. Elavalakan says:

“I’m proud to support both Genesis Orwell Mencap and Cancer Support Suffolk, as they profoundly impact and improve the lives of countless people across Suffolk. These incredible charities provide essential services—helping adults with disabilities lead fulfilling lives and supporting individuals and families through the challenges of cancer.

“By purchasing a ticket or even a table to this event, you’re not just enjoying a wonderful evening - you’re making a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Let’s come together to support these important causes and help them continue their vital work.”

The evening begins with welcome drinks, followed by a delicious Sri Lankan meal, an auction, plus entertainment throughout the night.

Gather your friends, family, or work colleagues and take advantage of our group offer: Tables of 10 are available for just £700—a £50 saving compared to purchasing individual tickets!
