Your food business - what you must do by law

Food businesses in Ipswich must register all premises with the Council before opening or using new locations. Fines or imprisonment up to two years may apply for operating without registration.

Food premises approval

If you plan to handle or manufacture products of animal origin, like slicing and re-wrapping meat, you may need special approval for your premises.
