Ipswich Borough Council is reviewing its Statement of Community Involvement and you are invited to comment on the draft document.
The consultation will run for four weeks, starting at 9am on Thursday 6 March 2025 and ending at 11.45pm on Thursday 3 April 2025.
What is a Statement of Community Involvement?
The Ipswich Borough Council Statement of Community Involvement sets out how the Council will engage with residents, communities, stakeholders, and consultation bodies on planning matters.
The Statement of Community Involvement covers consultation and engagement on planning policy and development management (the planning application process).
The current Statement of Community Involvement was adopted in January 2024. The Council is updating the Statement of Community Involvement to help maintain robust and effective community involvement at every stage of the planning process. The latest revisions to the Statement of Community Involvement include updates on how the Council plans to notify the public about planning applications.
