The Council is carrying out a public consultation on proposals to introduce new public paid for parking bays (‘pay and display’) in place on a number of existing limited waiting parking bays, unrestricted sections of road or where yellow lines currently exist on Constantine Road, Friars Bridge Road, Lower Brook Street, New Cardinal Street, Russell Road and Sir Alf Ramsey Way.

Ipswich Borough Council has launched a public consultation on its draft Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP). The consultation will run for 6 weeks, from Monday 27 January 2025 to Sunday 9 March 2025. The AQAP contacts a list of proposed measures and actions that we will take to improve air quality.

The Local List SPD and revisions identify buildings and structures, which are of local architectural and historic interest or make a significant contribution to the character and appearance of the town, but do not meet the criteria for statutory listing.
